10 celebrity dinner guests to your party, go!
Elizabeth Taylor- Before she got all immobile and old. That dame could drink any man under the table and apparently had a filthy mouth. Katharine Hepburn-Sassy, athletic, direct and unconventional. Judy Garland-A tragic soul but a voice unparallelled to none. Cynthia Rhodes-Obviously, people. The most underrated star ever. And a damn good dancer to boot. Teddy Roosevelt-An enthralling...

Something to keep in mind in case I’m ever in Washington. Looks like an amazing venue to listen to some sweet tunes!

Good to go
So since my last post, things are good. I’m feeling better about Rockford. Still need to find a job or determine what I would want to do if I went back to school. I have some ideas but nothing concrete yet and nothing I want to post on tumblr :) . The job hunt still yields dismal results, as PR/Marketing/Hospitality jobs are few and far between in a smaller city. Plus I’ve only been...

Dilema
Had two job interviews today and I’m dead tired. Getting grilled and providing witty yet substantial answers that make you stand out is work. Needless to say I ate 2 bowls of cereal and got in my jammies as soon as I got home. Situation: 1st interview went well, was told that there were more seasoned applicants but that I would get a call next week. Which makes me think I’m not in...

Book Review: Arcadia
Arcadiaby Lauren Groff I’ve been looking forward to reading this book for awhile, I’m already a fan of Lauren Groff’sMonster’s of Templeton, and expected good things fromArcadia. It didn’t disappoint!  I think one of the things I enjoy about Groff’s novels are her method for telling a story. She’s able to tell a story from seemingly one person’s...

So unbelievably frustrated with my job right now
I say job because I used to think it was a career but I don’t think that’s accurate anymore. When you get out of college, you kind of bob around in whatever industry is hiring. I suppose that happened to me. I worked at a Hotel during college and since completion of my degree, I’ve worked in Hotel Sales for the past 5+ years. I like it. But. Now I’ve hit a glass ceiling....

MONA Tasmania →
Apparently this museum offers an after-hours “naturist tour” where participants are escorted though the subterranean exhibitions while in the state that nature intended. I.e. NAKED. Birthday suit. I would need a stiff couple of hundred of drinks to go on that one. But what the heck, if I’m ever in Tasmania, I may have to drop in and attend. You only live once!

This weekend
Fiery-red-haired bridesmaid flirted with the BF right in front of my face (twirling his hair, smiling, winking at him and dragging him out on the dance floor), some girls need to know their place. Groomsmen training for a body-building competition shows his cell phone full of pussy and boob pictures at the rehearsal dinner, what a cad! Wedding guests spent more time outside smoking then inside for...
